What Is a Slidelock Clasp?
A Slidelock clasp is a type of deployant clasp with a hidden sliding mechanism inside the fold. Instead of removing links to resize your bracelet, you simply slide the inner rail to a new position, instantly adjusting the fit by several millimetres in either direction.
It's the same technology used on high-end Swiss sports bracelets, and it's standard on every bracelet we ship.
Step-by-Step: How to Adjust Your Slidelock Clasp
Step 1: Open the clasp
Start by opening the safety catch at the front of the clasp. Press the two push-buttons on either side simultaneously and fold the clasp open. You'll now see the inner sliding rail exposed.
Step 2: Locate the sliding rail
Inside the clasp, you'll see a small rail or bar that sits in a track. This is the Slidelock mechanism. It can slide inward (to loosen) or outward (to tighten) within its range.
Step 3: Slide to your desired position
Using your thumb, push the rail in the direction you need:
- Push inward (toward the watch) to loosen the bracelet
- Pull outward (away from the watch) to tighten the bracelet
The rail clicks into position at each increment. You have up to 15mm of total range, roughly 3โ4 click positions depending on the clasp.
Step 4: Close and lock the clasp
Fold the clasp back down until it clicks firmly shut. Give it a gentle tug to confirm it's locked. You're done.
Tips for Getting the Perfect Fit
- Morning vs evening: Wrists swell slightly throughout the day. If your watch feels tight by afternoon, use the Slidelock to give yourself one click of extra room.
- Over a wetsuit or sleeve: Heading out in the cold or wearing a thick shirt? Slide out a position or two for comfort over clothing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I break the Slidelock by over-adjusting it?
No, the rail is designed to stop at its limits. Don't force it past the end of its track, but normal use won't damage it.
My Slidelock feels stiff, is that normal?
New clasps can be slightly stiff out of the box. A few adjustments will loosen it up. If it remains difficult to move, contact us and we'll sort it out.
Does the Slidelock work with aftermarket bracelets?
Only if the aftermarket bracelet includes a Slidelock-compatible clasp. Standard deployant clasps don't have this feature.
